Wisconsin Truckers Compete In Super Bowl of Safety

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (08/03/2016) – Eight, professional truckers from Wisconsin will compete, Aug. 10-13, when American Trucking Associations welcome more than 400 of the trucking industry’s top professional truck drivers. The 79th annual Super Bowl of Safety will be held in Indianapolis. The “Super Bowl” event is for the 2016 National Truck Driving Championships and National Step Van Championships.

WFU Supports Restricting Farm Land Ownership By Foreigners

WISCONSINREPORT.COM [WiscReport.com] (12/26/2014) An opinion issued by Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is expected to ease the fears by some that Wisconsin was open to a legal challenge through a restriction on foreign land ownership wanted by people who believe Wisconsin farm land should remain in the hands of non-foreigners. In a memo to Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen concluded that Wisconsin’s statute limiting the foreign ownership of farmland by nonresident aliens does not contradict the General Agreement on Trades and Services GATS.
