OWI Charge in Monroe County Leads to Felony Bail Jumping in Juneau County
A 36 year old Edgerton woman is facing her first offense OWI as well as a Felony Bail Jumping charge after being pulled over on August 18th. Sarah Bires was pulled over in Monroe County on Highway PP. When the deputy approached he noticed Bires had glossy eyes and just stared at the deputy. The deputy detected a strong odor of alcohol and noticed an open can of beer in the passenger seat. Bires failed a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer test. She was arrested on the scene. Bires OWI will be charged in Monroe County. This violation also broke a condition of her bond in Juneau County.
