Human Bones Found in Monroe County Field
The Tomah Police Department is trying to identify human bones found in an undeveloped field near Countyline Road. Police were notified by a person checking power lines to conduct a possible tree trimming. The person discovered skeletal remains that were determined to be human. The discovery was mad Tuesday morning around 11am. In a press release, Tomah Police Department Lt. Ron Waddell said identification will require “several steps … and may be a lengthy process.”
