Adams County Clerk Resigns Amid Accusations

The Adams County Clerk has resigned amid accusations she accessed confidential computer records.  Cindy Phillipi didn’t include any admission of liability in the resignation she submitted to the county board Tuesday night.  The Adams County Personnel Director filed charges last month than Phillippi had established unauthorized checking accounts, deleted records, gained unauthorized access to the Health and Human Services building, gave confidential information to a former county employee and misled an investigation looking into her actions.
