Mauston Man Arrested After not Cooperating with Authorities
A Mauston man is facing charges of Possession of THC, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after a July 10th incident. Mauston officers reported to a residence on Division Street due to a disturbance. The disturbance was a reported incident where a male had hit a female victim. Authorities made contact with a woman and 30 year old Shawn Cunningham. The officers noted the woman’s eyes looked red and puffy like she had been crying. Cunningham would not identify himself to authorities and repeatedly said he didn’t do anything wrong. Back up arrived and Cunningham became agitated yelling and swearing at authorities. He was placed under arrest for not cooperating with authorities and transported to Juneau County Jail. While searching him they found a smoking pipe with burnt residue on it.
