Flood Relief Efforts Ongoing in the City of Mauston

An emergency shelter has been established at Mauston High School.  Use Door #12 on the south side of the building.  Use the school entrance on Highway G.  This information is being shared on behalf of the Salvation Army and the Red Cross.

The city of Mauston has sandbags available for the residents of the city of Mauston. Sandbags can be picked up at no charge at the City’s Public Works Department on North road. The city is requesting that you only take what you need and will use.

ANYONE WITH FLOOD DAMAGE SHOULD REPORT THE DAMAGE BY CALLING 2-1-1 OR GO ONLINE TO 211wisconsin.org

The Mauston United Methodist Church will be hosting their annual fall rummage sale this weekend.  All proceeds will go towards the churches missions; however victims affected by flooding will be able to receive items at the rummage sale for free.  The Church is currently collecting donation items.  They are helping out in part due to the flooding that has taken place at Saint Vincent DePaul’s.
