Mauston Woman Arrested for Allegedly Throwing Ash Tray at a Juvenile

A Mauston woman is facing multiple charges including Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Abuse, and Physical Abuse of a Child.  47 year old Diana Mason is accused of throwing an ash tray and hitting a juvenile in the stomach.  A witness claims Mason had been agitated all day because he would not allow her to use a cell phone.  Mason argued with the witness before he went to work and then again after.  The witness claims the child laughed and Mason threw the ash tray hitting the child in the stomach.  Authorities noticed no red marks on the juvenile’s stomach.  Mason says she did not throw the ash tray and the juvenile had been talked into telling that story to authorities.  Another young juvenile told authorities they also had witnessed mason throw the ash tray at the other juvenile.  Mason had a warrant out for her arrest for not showing up to court.
