Search Warrant of Elroy Home Turns up Drugs, Cockroaches, and even more Cockroaches

An Elroy couple is facing multiple charges after local authorities conducted a search warrant on an Elroy residence.  ON November 19th a search warrant was obtained and conducted on a Western Street residence in Elroy.  As authorities arrived they observed a young child leave the residence and Child Protection Services were also advised to come to the residence.  A person at the home said the child had left to go to the library.  The home belonged to 33 year old Melynda Link and 34 year old Timothy Roggenbauer.  Inside the home authority’s located drugs, drug related items, animal feces, cockroaches, and more cockroaches.  Authorities located dog feces on one of the child’s beds and found cockroaches in a refrigerator on top of exposed food.  Link and Roggenbauer each faces charges of Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Neglecting a Child, Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Link faces an additional charge of Possession of Narcotic Drugs.
