New Software Coming To Help Unemployment Claims

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development announcing that those making unemployment claims will notice improvements within the system soon.

The State has signed a 17-Million-dollar contract with the software company Flexion. Federal funds will be used to pay for the project, costing around 90 Million dollars.

The system used to pay unemployment claims was swamped during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic last year.
