Necedah Men Facing Charges After Taking Truck For Joy Ride Allegedly
A pair of Necedah men are facing charges of Operating A Motor Vehicle Without Owner Consent – Party To A Crime. In August a local Auto place reported to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office that they had a truck and LED sign taken without their consent. On August 27th a person came into the Sheriff’s Office stating they had information on the stolen truck. They stated 21 year old Antonio Martinez, 19 year old Alexzaner Merritt and 2 others had taken the truck. It was claimed that the 4 of them were looking for something to do and they decided to steal the truck and take it for a joy ride. They took the truck to a dirt road and hid the stolen vehicle behind an abandoned house. The sign and truck were located by authorities.
