Heldt Facing an Additional 6 Charges
29 year old Katherine Heldt, of Lyndon Station is facing 6 new charges including 5 counts of Felony Bail Jumping and one count of Uttering a Forgery. Mauston Police followed up on a report of fraudulent checks on June 7th. The fraudulent checks were used at two Mauston businesses that were right across the street from one another. Video surveillance from May 15th showed Heldt trying to use the forged check. The checks came back returned as unable to locate. The check Heldt used at the first business was numbered #9004 and the check used at the second business was #9005. The second check also came back as unable to locate. Heldt is facing over 50 different charges in other related cases.
