KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Police say an employee has died in an industrial accident in Kenosha. Authorities say the 25-year-old man was operating a piece of machinery at Affiliated Foods distribution center Thursday night. He suffered fatal blunt force trauma after falling from the machinery. 4 teenagers arrested for ramming Milwaukee Police squad car

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Authorities say four juveniles are in custody after they rammed a stolen vehicle into a Milwaukee police squad car. Police say officers saw a vehicle parked in the middle of the street about 11 p.m. Thursday and got out of their squad car to investigate. That’s when the vehicle rammed the squad car twice. Anti-sanctuary cities bill clears Wisconsin Senate committee

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin Senate committee has passed a bill looking to end “sanctuary cities” that provide protections to immigrants living in the country illegally. The Senate labor committee voted 3-2 with all Republicans in support and Democrats against to pass the bill. It now heads to the full Senate. It must pass there and in the Assembly and be signed by Gov. Scott Walker before taking effect. The proposal would bar local governments from passing ordinances, approving policies or taking other steps to prevent enforcement of federal immigration laws. Walker has been lukewarm on the bill, saying last year he was “just fine” with it not passing.
