Wisconsin Dells Area Looking Into a New Hockey Sports Complex

Wisconsin Dells area is considering a new hockey sports complex.  The Village Board of Lake Delton approved $40,000 for the study of the feasibility of a hockey sports complex, during its April 23rd board meeting.  Former hockey player, coach, and sports venue developer, Toby Kinsler proposed the study.  He would like to see a complex in the Dells area big enough to hosts national tournaments for high school and younger participants.  Mike Sullivan of the Wisconsin Hockey Academy believes it would be an ideal hockey training area for the state of Wisconsin.  He says Wisconsin currently lacks a site where teens can develop their skills.  Lake Delton would be the perfect venue many believe because its centrally located within the state and has plenty of hotel space to house tournaments.  In addition a new complex could possibly host a tier II level junior hockey team as well as hosting other sports competitions such as figure skating, curling, broom ball, and 3 on 3 hockey.
