Reedsburg Volleyball Wins Sparta Invitational Mauston goes 1-4 in Same Tournament

Mauston, Reedsburg, and Wonewoc-Center all competed in the Sparta Volleyball invitational this past weekend.

Mauston went 1-4 in the tournament with its only win coming over Wonewoc-Center 2-1.  Mauston dropped its matches to Edgar, Reedsburg, Black River Falls, and Sparta.  Maddie Scully, Mia Quist, and Emma Incaprero all had strong games for the Golden Eagles.

Reedsburg claimed the Championship at the tournament by going 5-0.

Reedsburg won in straight against Wonewoc-Center, Edgar, Mauston, and Sparta before needing 3 sets to defeat Black River Falls in the championship match.  Kaitlyn Zunker led the Beavers in kills with 25 in the tournament.  Mahra Weiman led the team in assists and aces.  Alyssa Straka had 6 blocks in the tournament.
