North Side River Walk in Mauston to Welcomes StoryWalk
It’s no longer just a walking trail in Mauston; it’s a StoryWalk trail. It’s part of Hatch Public Libraries StoryWalk project. Mauston’s StoryWalk features a series of 16 panels starting at Hatch Public Library. Visitors visit each panel which contains a page of a book. It ends at panel 16 in Murphy’s Park. The story will change seasonally. The StoryWalk project hopes to encourage outdoor activity, literacy, and the use of Mauston’s new north side river walk. The first and current story to be on the StoryWalk trail is “Good Trick, Walking Stick”.
