Mitchell, LaVerne “Bud” Lester, age 83 of Rockland

LaVerne “Bud” Lester Mitchell, 83, of Rockland, WI, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Norseland Nursing Home in Westby, WI.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Moen Lutheran Church located on County Road PC, rural Cashton.  Pastor Amanda Schultz Garcia will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Moen Cemetery.  Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bud’s name to the Immanuel Moen Lutheran Church, Moen Cemetery or to Norseland Nursing Home.  Torkelson Funeral Home of Cashton, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be offered at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com.
