Mile Bluff Medical Center To Hold October 9th Blood Drive

There will be a blood drive at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston from 9 am to 2 pm on Tuesday, October 9. Each donation made at Mile Bluff could touch the lives of up to three people in the community.  All attempting donors will be entered into a drawing to win a tailgate package to a Green Bay Packers game.

In recent months, the Blood Center of Wisconsin has implemented a new drive scheduling system.  Anyone who would like to make a donation is being asked to make an appointment by midnight the night before the drive.  Doing this allows the Blood Center to know how many people are expected the next day.

Walk-ins will still be welcome at the Mile Bluff drives, but walk-ins will be asked to book a donation time based on appointment availability.  While you may not get in right away, there may be openings later in the day for you to donate during a time that fits in your schedule.  Please know that the Blood Center is still working on streamlining this new process. They appreciate everyone’s patience and commitment to donating blood.
