Janesville Man Charged With Child Abuse For Infant’s Injuries

Child abuse charges have been filed against a Janesville man after his three-month-old son was taken to Mercy Health Clinic East last week.  Janesville police were called because the infant’s facial injuries and bruises were consistent with child abuse.  Thirty-five-year-old Kyell Churchill told investigators he pushed the bottle into the baby’s mouth while feeding him and that started some bleeding.  Doctors say the multiple injuries seemed suspicious — especially since the victim’s twin had multiple fractured ribs.
