County Highway M Bridge in Monroe County to Be Closed Monday

County Truck Highway “M” will be closed between Hertz Avenue and Interior Road in the Town of Tomah beginning Monday, September 18, 2017. The closure is necessary in order to replace the failing bridge immediately west of Hertz Avenue. The project is expected to be completed and the highway reopened by October 31st. The existing bridge will be removed by the Monroe County Highway Department. Radtke Contractors, Incorporated of Winneconne has been awarded a $146,500 contract to construct the new bridge, a single-span timber structure.
