Illinois Man Gets Deferred Judgment in 2015 Shooting Incident

An Illinois man charged in 2015 for a shooting incident at a campground in the Town of Lyndon will see some jail time. Court records show 37-year-old Kane Kramer of Thornton pleaded no contest to three misdemeanor counts of intentionally pointing a firearm at a person and received a 5 year deferred judgment on second degree recklessly endangering safety count. He was sentenced to 4 months for each misdemeanor count and they are to be served consecutively to each other at the Juneau County Jail. Other charges of Aggravated Battery-Intend Great Bodily Harm and Disorderly Conduct were dismissed but read in.
