Zygmunt “Ziggy” Bender, age 87, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. A celebration of life will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Dellwood Pavilion. Ziggy was born April 25, 1930 in Poland.  He worked at Harnischfeger in Milwaukee, WI for 26 years. Ziggy enjoyed hunting, fishing, helping others, traveling, and being social in the Polish community. He was President of the Adams County Polonia Club. Ziggy was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Bender. Survivors: Daughter:  Kristine (Richard) Ociepa of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Daughter:  Theresa (Richard) Wallner of Saladina, Colorado Granddaughter:  Nicole (Brian)
