Scott Walker’s re-election team contains familiar long-time advisers, including a target in the John Doe criminal investigation that looked into campaign fundraising during the 2012 recall election. Tomah Memorial Hospital is offering complimentary balance screenings for adults Nov. 7 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. – noon. Each assessment should last 20 to 30 minutes, and will be held in the Rehabilitation Services Department at Tomah Memorial Hospital, 321 Butts Avenue in Tomah. People interested in getting a balance assessment should be able to tolerate walking for at least 50 feet without having to sit down and rest.
