Richards, William “Bill” H., age 82, of Orchard Road, Ironwood Township

IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich.- William H. “Bill” Richards, 82, of Orchard Road, Ironwood Township, died peacefully Tuesday morning, Nov. 7, 2017, at home, with his loving family by his side. He was born April 16, 1935, in Ironwood, son of the late William Sr. and Thelma (Follstad) Richards, attended Roosevelt School and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1953. He then served stateside in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Bill received degrees from Gogebic Community College and Michigan State University and received a Master of Science degree in botany and biology from Northern Michigan University.
