A Spring Green man led sheriff’s deputies on a short pursuit Saturday afternoon after being involved in a hit-and-run crash involving several vehicles. Sauk County authorities said in a release, they received a call around 1:30 p.m. reporting a hit-and-run crash with injuries involving three vehicles on Highway 23/33 near Aults Road in the town of Excelsior. A deputy located the suspect vehicle heading east on Highway 23/33. The suspect, 44-year-old Shawn P. Moran, failed to stop for the deputy, resulting in a brief pursuit until finally entering a private driveway and yard, damaging a fire number sign in the process.
