There was a fatal accident Friday, December 22, in the Village of La Farge. According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, at about 8:10 p.m., they received a call of a single vehicle accident on Highway 131, just south of North Seelyburg Road. A vehicle left the roadway and drove through a building owned by Organic Valley Cooperative. 23-year-old Logan R. (Jacobson) Connelly, of rural La Farge, was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle. Connelly was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on the scene by the Vernon County Coroner’s Office. The crash remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office.
