Henry Austin, age 42, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested on multiple counts as a result of a high speed chase that occurred around 2 a.m. on Thursday, January 4th. State Patrol State Patrol received word of a pickup truck crashing into a semi, and not stopping, while both were traveling westbound on I-90/94 near Mauston.  When State Patrol caught up with the vehicle it’s the driver eventually pulled over and then took off again only to be stopped finally near Volk Field in Camp Douglas.  After a high-speed chase the driver has been cited with several felonies including; Hit and Run, Possession of THC, Attempting to Elude an Officer, and

Ronald Beutel, age 52, of Necedah, received several citations including failure to notify police of an accident stemming from a one vehicle accident that occurred in the early mornings morning hours of Friday December 29th.  Sheriff’s Deputies mailed Citations to Beutel as he has been avoiding contact with authorities since the accident. In the early morning hours of January 6th, a one vehicle accident where Crystal Teumer, age 21, was driving toward Mauston on Highway 12/16 in Seven Mile Creek Township.  Sheriff’s deputies found a pipe which later tested positive for drug residue.  Crystal was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia along with other traffic violations.  One passenger in the vehicle Axel Arcuri, age 25, gave several misleading statements to the investigating officers.
