Lake Delton Man Throws Chair at Grandmother

A Lake Delton man was arrested last Tuesday for an assault on his grandmother.  Damian Olsen 19 of Lake Delton allegedly through a chair at his grandma because he was upset she was letting another relative stay with there to serve as a caretaker.  Olsen and two other occupants apparently became upset and began verbally assaulting the grandmother and stuck their middle fingers up at her.  Olsen is officially being charged with Felony Aggravated Assault of an elderly person and a misdemeanor charge of Disorderly Conduct. Tomah Man Facing 8th Offense OWI

It will be his 8th offense.  50 year old Daniel Bird of Tomah is facing his 8th Offense OWI.  At around 5am on April 3rd authorities were alerted by a witness that someone had driven through their Town of Grant yard and struck an unoccupied vehicle.  Authorities located a Chevy Impala that had caused the damage resting in a snowbank with no one inside of it.  They checked the car and found job applications in the glove box with Birds name on them.  They were also able to identify Bird’s residence and were able to track him down walking to that address.  On contact with Bird, Bird claimed to be

Tomah PD Finds Meth in Mauston Mans Vehicle

A 39 year old Mauston man has been referred to the Monroe County District Attorney for drug charges.  Authorities were alerted by a caller, that a man sitting in a parking lot in Tomah’s industrial park had meth on him. The caller said the meth was hidden in a can of potato chips under the front seat.  The caller also identified the license plate numbers.  The vehicles plates were registered to Lewis Stewart of Mauston.  The car was unoccupied at the time the K9 unit was used to sniff out the car exterior.  The sniff of the vehicle alerted cops of the presence of meth.  During an interior search authorities
