Jeanette Marie Walsh died at home Saturday June 2, 2018 with family at her side. She had Hospice Touch to help her and her family through this difficult time.   Jennie was born July 12, 1927- the last child of Harry and Norma Parrington. Her mother was 46 years old when she was born. She had three older brothers who all catered to her every whim.  She married LeRoy Boehm and moved from Oakland, California to Mauston, Wisconsin, where she saw her first snow and loved it. Vernon County Sheriff John B. Spears reports a tractor rollover incident that occurred on private property west of Hillsboro, WI.  On June 4, 2018 at 1:04 p.m. the sheriff’s office was alerted to tractor rollover incident.  During the investigation it was learned that Cindy M. Klemp, age 51 of rural Hillsboro was operating a small tractor pulling a brush hog mower attachment.  Klemp reports she hit a washout on her property and the tractor started to roll.  Klemp said she jumped from the tractor as it started to roll.  Hillsboro Fire and EMS arrived on scene and shut the tractor and brush hog off.  Klemp was transported for unknown injuries

A Crandon woman is caught trying to flee to Mexico after skipping a sentencing hearing. Police in Laredo, Texas say they caught 53-year-old Patricia Kirker trying to cross over into Mexico over the weekend.
