Rescheduled Wonewoc NARCAN Training

SAFE in Juneau County will be hosting a FREE community Narcan training in Wonewoc at the American Legion (108 Center Street, Wonewoc) on Tuesday, April 23rd at 5:30 PM. This training will teach participants how to take life-saving steps in the event of an opioid overdose. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone (brand name Narcan). The free training is open to all community members, and participants will leave the training with free resources, including two doses of Narcan. Join us for a Fundraiser April 12th   Are you a dog and/or cat lover? Support the animals at Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter by attending their annual fundraiser on Friday April 12th from 5-9pm at the Two Elk Event Center at The Lodge in Mauston! Attendees will start the evening snacking on delicious appetizers while bidding on a multitude of door prizes and raffle baskets. Marshall, Mary Claire Age 88 of Mauston

The Mass of Christian Burial for will Mary Claire Marshall, age 88 of Mauston, Wisconsin be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Cryton Outschoorn celebrating. Visitation will be held at Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. and then proceed to the church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or the Mauston Food Pantry. The Conway-Picha Funeral Home and Crematory of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin assisted the family with arrangements.
