The Royall Panthers completed a pair of 10-0 no hit victories over the New Lisbon Rockets Monday evening in a Scenic Bluffs Conference baseball doubleheader.  Gunnar Wopat pitched his 2nd no hitter of the season in game 1 giving up no hits in 5 innings while walking 3 and striking out 8.  Tyrus Wildes went 3×3 with 4RBI’s at the plate for the Panthers and Jett Bender went 1×3 with a pair of RBI’s.  Seth Brandau pitched a 5 inning no-hitter for the Panthers in game two.  Brandau gave up no hits walked only 1 and struck out 8 Rocket batters in the victory.  Seth also went 2×2 at the

Dorothy June Anderson, age 97, died peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was the youngest of six children born to the late Reverend David and Ruth Barclay on June 11, 1926 in Elmwood, IL and is survived by her twin brother, David Barclay. Dorothy (Dodo to her sibs) married Robert (Bob) Anderson on June 12, 1948. She graduated from Carroll College in Waukesha, WI. When her children were all in school, she embarked on a 30-year career as a teacher. David L. Blaha, age 71 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.   He was born on March 19, 1953, the son of Albert “Bud” and Verna (Bliss) Blaha in Hillsboro.  David graduated from the Hillsboro High School.   He had worked at GM in Janesville, Northern Plastics in Elroy and Wal Mart Distribution Center in Tomah.   Dave loved to be in his gardens, planting flowers and letting everyone enjoy them all.  He would work until he was satisfied with what he was doing, whether it was putting up a fence, moving a wall, or just doing home

Arlene Doris Graham, age 78, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at her home and today she is having her bagels and coffee with Jesus . Arlene was born December 27, 1945 in Ypsilanti, Michigan to Harold and Willoween “Billie” (Austin) Hammond.  With her two beloved brothers Raymond and Bruce and their parents they loved camping on the shores of Lake Michigan.
