Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says its a solid budget that continues to reform Wisconsin and move the state forward. Meanwhile Assembly Democrats Leader Peter Barca says it is the worst budget he has ever seen and will harm Wisconsin mightily.

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (06/09/2015) – New Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair, Martha Laning, wants to do what she can to change the power balance in the State Capitol. Laning, from a middle class Central Wisconsin family, was elected party chairperson at the state Democrats Convention in Milwaukee the weekend of June 5th and 6th, 2015. She has analyzed comparisons between Republicans and Democrats and thinks she may have the answers that will persuade voters to put Democrats back in power.

WISCONSINREPORT.COM (04/30/2015) – A study, designed to determine how many Wisconsinites think Governor Scott Walker should accept federal money to fund Medicare in the state, indicates 82 percent say, yes. Wisconsin is one of several states that have chosen not to expand Medicaid with federal funds offered under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Supporters and the candidate herself are chalking up the win as one that shows most voters wanted to keep partisan politics out of decisions made by the State Supreme Court.
