Royall Rallies Late for Huge Comeback over Kickapoo in Girls Basketball
The Royall Lady Panthers basketball team had a comeback to remember Monday night against Kickapoo. Royall trailed 41-30 in the closing minute of the game and rallied to win 45-44. Cheyanne Harris hit her 5th three point basket of the game with 14 seconds left to put Royall on top. Madeline Wainwright then stripped the ball away from Kickapoo to seal the comeback for Royall. Jessica Brueggeman added 10 points for the Panthers who are now 3-0 on the season. Harris led all scorers with 18 points. Royall now has a long layoff before hosting Necedah on December 6th. Carrie Neefe led Kickapoo with 10 points. Kickapoo drops to 1-1 on the season.
