Kenosha Man Dies in Juneau County Accident

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, at around 5:30 A.M., the Juneau County Communication’s Center received a telephone call regarding a one vehicle crash on 39th Street, just east of Germantown Rd, in Clearfield Township.

The caller stated he found a vehicle on its side, and located a male subject, who he thought looked deceased, under the van.

Responding deputies discovered a GMC Savana Van in the north ditch resting on the passenger side.  Investigation revealed the driver had been partially ejected from the vehicle and was deceased.  There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Edward A. Tannler, age 59, from Kenosha.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The Juneau County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New Lisbon Fire Department, Mauston Area Ambulance, and the Juneau County Medical Examiner’s Office.
