Sen. NASS: ATCP 51 Draft Revisions Should be 'Scrapped'
Senator Steve Nass of Whitewater, who co-chairs the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules, issued the following statement on Wednesday regarding the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection’s efforts, known as Clearinghouse Rule 19-098, to make major revisions to Wisconsin’s livestock facility siting process
“Wisconsin’s agricultural industry contributes an estimated $104 billion annually to our state’s economy and farmers are facing some of the most difficult economic challenges in decades.
