Richland Center Woman Recounts Frightening Experience During Vigil
A Richland Center woman is recounting a frightening experience during a Tuesday night vigil held outside the Richland County Courthouse. Autumn Lent says people gathered to honor the victims of mass shootings across the country. She says it wasn’t an anti-gun protest, but a man in a vehicle stopped and started yelling about the Second Amendment, then returned five minutes later with a gun. Lent says she didn’t know what the angry, armed man would do. Police determined he wasn’t a threat and hadn’t broken the law because he didn’t point the gun at anyone.
