Tomah School Board Issues Confederate Flag Ban

The Tomah School Board has officially banned students from wearing or depicting the Confederate flag.  The School board voted 7-0 in favor of the banning of the flag.  Many people within the Tomah School District felt like the flag caused disruption in education and made some student fear for their safety, while a small few believed the ban is limiting freedom of speech and expression.
