Wisconsin Rapids Man Pleads No Contest To 1st-Degree Intentional Homicide

A 59-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man entered a no contest plea to a charge of first-degree intentional homicide during a Thursday hearing.  Gary Bohman is accused of shooting his ex-wife’s husband to death inside Higher Ground Bakery and Cafe last March.  Surveillance video showed 39-year-old Christopher Race working behind the counter when he was killed with his young children present.  Bohman is to be sentenced December 18th.
