Fatal Accident Takes Place in Town Of Kildare
On Tuesday, October 16th, at 6:17 pm, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle accident on County Road HH south of 54th Street in the Town of Kildare. Initial investigation revealed the operator of a southbound vehicle went off the roadway while negotiating a curve on County Road HH. The operator of the vehicle overcorrected and slid into the path of a northbound vehicle. The driver of the northbound vehicle was transported by medical helicopter to Gunderson Lutheran Hospital. The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 54 year old Wisconsin Dells man, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Juneau County Coroner. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family.
The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
