400 Wisconsin Army National Guard Soldiers To Be Deployed

Soldiers with the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry out of Appleton will be deployed to Afghanistan this winter.  Members will provide security for coalition forces which are involved in destroying terrorist safe havens.  The soldiers come from Appleton, Clintonville, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Marinette, Ripon, and Waupun.  Details of a send-off ceremony haven’t been announced yet.
