Madison, Monona Engineers Warn Of Continued Flooding Threat

Madison and Monona engineers are warning of a continued flooding threat.  Officials in cities along the Yahara River say they may open the locks around Mendota if coming rain brings the water to high levels.  This would increase flow to the Yahara and Lake Monona, causing flooding concerns in Madison and Monona.  Engineers say the concern may continue into mid-to-late October.
