Portage Police Seek Restraining Order, Tell Court Of Harassment
Portage police officials are asking a Sauk County Circuit Court judge to issue a restraining order against a man they accuse of harassing them for years. Fifty-nine-year-old Michael O’Grady has filed numerous court actions alleging corruption, racketeering, and murder by department officials. O’Grady represented himself in court Tuesday. Police Lieutenant Dan Garrigan testified he believed O’Grady was stalking him and his family. He says the stress has led him to carry a weapon, even when he isn’t on duty — something he hadn’t done before.
