Mauston Man’s Attempt to Elude Officers Falls Flat (on his face)

A Mauston man’s attempt to elude the police fell flat, on his face.  Authorities reported to a residence near Maugh and State Street to make contact with 32 year old Joshua Campbell, on August 2nd.  Campbell is known to have 4 felony warrants for his arrest.  Authorities could not get Campbell to exit the residence so they threatened to send the K9 in the house after him.  As authorities attempted to remove a small dog at the residence, Campbell made a run for the backyard fence.  Pilot the K9 dog was able to pull down Campbell midair, and Campbell ended up falling facedown and did not move.  Campbell was then placed under arrest.  Campbell is facing 8 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, and a count of Resisting an Officer.
