3 Wisconsin Dells Residents Charged After Castration Attempt Goes Wrong

Three Wisconsin Dells residents are being charged after an attempted castration of their pet cat went terribly wrong.  David Burns 64; Lean Burns 59; and David Burns Jr. 37, are all facing charges in Sauk County, for Animal Mistreatment.  If convicted they could each face 3 ½ years in prison.  Authorities received in an anonyms tip from someone who had seen the improperly performed castration attempted on Facebook.  The Burns’s apparently tried to use the banding technique, but the kitten was injured in the process and ended up dying from the injuries.
