Hospital Expanding To Meet Community’s Medical Service Needs
Officials with Black River Memorial Hospital say a 13-million dollar expansion project will provide extra space for surgical services, rehabilitation, and behavioral health care. Ground was broken Tuesday in Black River Falls. The goal is to help patients get access to the health care they need more quickly. The hospital says it expects to complete the project by Spring of 2020. C-F-O Matthew Streeter says offering those services locally will let patients avoid long drives to bigger cities.
