Story Update: Mauston Man Facing Gun Charges

WRJC news has received confirmation from Monroe County Sheriff Scott Perkins that there was a mix up in the Sheriff’s department and no charges will be filed against 30 year old Andrew Harrell of Mauston.  Harrell did not have his Concealed Carry Permit revoked as reported in the original story.  There is also an ongoing investigation into why Harrell was pulled over as he says there was no crack in his windshield.

 

 

A Mauston man is facing a charge of Carrying a Concealed Weapon after being pulled over for a cracked windshield.  30 year old Andrew Harrell was pulled over in Oakdale and showed the deputy his concealed carry permit and his pistol inside his holster on his belt.  Harrell however, was on bond for a firearm offense and had his permit revoked. Harrell was pulled over on June 22nd.
