Fitchburg Police Find Wounded Man Involved In Sunday Night Shooting

Fitchburg police say investigators were following up on a shots-fired report at the same time a man arrived at an area hospital.  He had suffered gunshot wounds, telling officers he was injured in Fitchburg.  The first 9-1-1 call came in at 9:30 P-M.  Officers say they found shell casings at the scene.  Witnesses tell reports crime scene tape was put up and authorities were searching the area using flashlights.  The name and medical condition of the gunshot victim haven’t been released.
