La Crosse Man Accused Of Raping Disabled Women

A 40-year-old La Crosse man is accused of raping a woman with cognitive disabilities.  Karl Stoy is being held in the La Crosse County Jail after the incident last week.  Stoy has admitted the sex act.  The woman told investigators she wanted to have sex with him, but her care providers say her disability makes her unable to give legal consent.  The charge against Stoy is second-degree sexual assault.
