Camp Douglas Man Arrested After Making Threats Towards Girlfriends and Law Enforcement
A Camp Douglas man who is not very fond of President Trump or police officers was arrested on June 9th. A female victim called Juneau County authorities stating her boyfriend Patrick Johnson age 53 had threatened to kill her while holding a knife. She stated Johnson had left heading towards Beloit. The victim told authorities they had been arguing while Johnson was drunk, Johnson reportedly grabbed her face giving her a swollen lip and causing pain. He also scratched her neck. She also told authorities that he threatened to come after her if she called the police. She told the deputy that Johnson does not like Donald Trump because he believes he allows white cops to kill black men. The victim told authorities Johnson would fight back. The victim received a call from Johnson saying he was coming back to the residence. Authorities detained Johnson upon arrival due to his threats towards law enforcement. Authorities believed there was an odor of intoxicants coming from Johnson. Johnson refused to speak to authorities and also refused a sobriety or breathalyzer test. Johnson was transported to the Juneau County Jail where they were granted a search warrant for a legal blood draw by Judge Curran. Johnson refused to cooperate and had to be forcefully given the blood draw. Johnson is facing charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated – 4th Offense, Resisting Arrest, and a Misdemeanor Battery charge.
