Shane S. Zahrte, 47, of Sparta, WI, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health Center, Sparta, WI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018, 11:00 a.m.  at     Guardian Angel’s Catholic Parish Church, Black River, WI.  Burial with full military honors will follow at the Brookside Cemetery, Milston, WI.  Family and friends are invited for visitation Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the TORKELSON FUNERAL HOME, 2224 S. SUPERIOR AVE, TOMAH, WI.  Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church in Black River Falls.
