Name Confirmed in Adams County Death Cause Not Yet confirmed

The name and suspected cause of a death in Adams County has been released.  On May 8th deputies and medical personnel responded to a residence in the Town of Big Flats for a report of a male who was unresponsive.  The male was identified as Ryan Reurterskiold 32, of Friendship and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The death is believed to be caused by a drug overdose, but cannot be confirmed until a toxicology and autopsy report can be finalized.  An investigation into the death is ongoing by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Adams County Medical Examiner’s Office.  No further information is being released at this time.
